MUNICIPAL PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICE


VISION
Marilao as a highly urbanized, habitable community, where Development, Man and Nature co-exist harmoniously.
MISSION
The Municipal Planning and Development Office, a pro-active and reactive agent of development, with a highly capable and willing staff, effectively utilizing its
available resources for the efficient delivery of needs of a sustainable development for Marilao.
OBJECTIVES
To improve and protect the health, safety, and welfare of citizens, consistent with the code, policies, ordinances and resolutions, adopted by Sangguniang
Bayan and good land use planning and zoning practices.
To encourage economic development of the Municipality by continuing to work with the developers, and the public.
To provide timely services to the public and technical and administrative support and appeals in matters relating to the comprehensive plan, zoning and
subdivision ordinances, building permits, plans of development, subdivisions, permits, and enforcement of zoning regulations.
To inspire and encourage the protection and enhancement of natural, historical, and cultural resources through the preservation of those sites, buildings,
features, and structures.
To maintain effective and efficient procedures for meeting legal requirements.
To provide a comprehensive planning program with an emphasis on urban design for the Municipality in order to provide both public and private decision
makers with a more informed basis for land use decisions and growth management.
To continue an enforce program that obtains compliance with the code for new development as well as correcting zoning and subdivision violations.
ISSUANCE OF LOCATIONAL CLEARANCE/ZONING CERTIFICATION/CELL SITE
SCHEDULE OF AVAILABILITY OF SERVICE: Monday to Friday; 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. without noon break
DURATION: Three (3) Days (If all requirements are submitted) (Under Normal Circumstances)
