I. Work Responsibilities.
a. The Nanny’s job title is

II. Scheduling, Cancellations, and Records.
a. The following represents a typical weekly work schedule. The Employer will
limit fluctuations and will provide as much notice of change as possible.
Additional hours must be negotiated verbally or in writing, along with
additional pay.

b. In the event of any cancellation of hours in the typical work schedule on the
Employer’s part, the Nanny will be paid as usual for all regular work hours.
c. The Employer will record all hours worked by the Nanny and will keep the
records in:
a daily log/notebook and/or digital format to be accessible to and
reviewable by the Nanny at all times.
b. Scheduled work week is hours.* Any hours worked above 30 hours, but less
than 40 hours will be paid at the contracted rate of $25 per hour. Any hours
worked in excess of 40 hours will be paid at one and half times the hourly rate
of $ [equal to $ ].
c. All travel on which the Nanny is asked to accompany the Employer must be
mutually agreed upon and shall be compensated at an additional rate to be
negotiated. The Nanny shall be provided her own accommodations for the
trip.
d. The Employer will pay the nanny’s wages at the end of each: workweek or
work-day.

IV. Meals, Communication Access, and Privacy.
a. The Employer and Nanny agree to the following food arrangement:
The Employer will let the Nanny know at least one day in advance if there is
food available for the Nanny on a given workday. If there is not food available
for the Nanny, then she will provide her own food. The Employer will allow the
Nanny to use the kitchen to heat or prepare her own meals.
b. The Nanny shall have access to the wireless internet service for use while in
the home.
V. Time Off.
a. The Nanny may take [ ] paid days off per year. Nanny may use these at
their discretion [either for vacation, illness or medical appointments for the
Nanny or a family member.]

VII. Confidentiality.
The Nanny understands that any and all private information obtained about the
Employer, their dependents, or any other person in association with the
Employer related to medical, financial, legal, social, career and any other
sensitive information may not be disclosed to a third (3rd) party for any reason.
X. Termination.
a. The Employer reserves the right to terminate immediately should any of the
above actions occur while in the care of the infant.
b. Nanny must provide at least (2) weeks [14 days] notice before terminating
this employment agreement.
c. If the Employer terminates the agreement for any reasons other than those
outlined above, the Employer will provide (2) weeks [14 days] of salary as
severance.

XI. COVID-19 Precautions & Protocols
Both parties [Nanny and Employer] will take precautions to protect ourselves
from exposure to the coronavirus.
We will:
• Practice social distancing when appropriate
• Limit exposure to large crowded events
• Use face masks where mandated and/or required
• Practice frequent and thorough handwashing
• Communicate long distance travel
• Take the same precautions laid out in this agreement in any other
workplaces we are in
● Over the past 14 days, has anyone in either household been in close contact
with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19?
● Over the past 14 days, has anyone in either household exhibited symptoms
of COVID-19?
● Over the past 14 days, have we each taken the precautions listed above?
● Have all parties been vaccinated and boosted [and can show proof of these]?
Should any of the following arise, we will assess risk and communicate
immediately.
We will:
● Suspend work and quarantine according to CDC guidelines [as of February
1, 2022, a 5-day quarantine will be in effect]
● Nanny will be paid at a rate of 50% of their normal hourly wage during the
5-day quarantine
● Nanny [or Employer] should test on Day 5 of the quarantine [at their own
expense]
● Work may resume after Day 5 if test is negative and no symptoms are
present

If anyone in either household develops symptoms or tests positive for COVID-
19 we will communicate this information immediately.
We will:
● Suspend work and isolate, per CDC guidelines as of February 1, 2022 – an
additional 5-day isolation period will be in effect]
● Nanny [or Employer] should test on Day 5 of the isolation period [at their
own expense]
● Work may resume after Day 5 of isolation if test is negative and no
symptoms are present
● Nanny will be paid at a rate of 50% of their normal hourly wage during the
5-day isolation period
● If symptoms persist, or another positive test result is received, Nanny may
use Paid Time Off to off-set days missed. No additional payment will be
made on behalf of the Employer.
