Description Typical Characteristics

Claretech BVL is a specially formulated ball valve Appearance Visual Smooth, adhesive
lubricant based on a fully synthetic oil and
incorporating an advanced corrosion inhibition Thickener Inorganic (non-soap)
system and an inorganic thickener. It is specifically
developed for use in API 6D ball valves under Temperature Range -25°F to 450°F
severe service conditions.
Ball valves have internal seal rings which provide a Penetration at 25°C IP 50 310-340
bubble tight seal between the ball and valve body
and are designed to provide a shut-off seal without Drop Point IP 396 Non-melting
the use of a sealant or viscous grease type
compound. However, in use, any minor surface 4-Ball Weld Load IP 239 >620kg
damage caused by corrosion or abrasive particles
can result in leak pathways forming. Minimum Pumpable
-10°F
Claretech BVL is recommended as an extremely Temperature*
effective preventative and corrective maintenance
product, ensuring reliable valve performance. Sealing Capability 0.1mm at 10,000 psi
