Introduction

In the present scenario in this report, Consumer attitude in consumption of milk powder

product in Ghazipur. In India underdeveloped countries desirous of accelerating economic

development emphasis the need of industrialization so much that they almost forget that the

development of Consumer used the daily need products. Therefore requires a high degree of

Industry development to sustain a desirable rate of economic growth.

There are so many companies which are dealing in Milk Powder products

like AMUL, Nestle, Gokul, Krishna, Sagar dealing in dairy products, etc.

In this project my focus is on tracking down the market analysis and study of consumer

preferences.

History: Powdered milk is an alternative dairy product, created by evaporating

moisture from whole or skim milk. The process of producing powder milk consists of "spray

drying" traditional milk into a heated chamber, where moisture evaporates from the base,

resulting in fine particles of powdered milk solids. Most powdered milk products contain

high levels of vitamins and minerals, and are often used in the manufacturing of infant

formulas, and confectionary sweets and delicacies, such as chocolates, caramel candies, and

Indian sweet milk balls. In recent years, powdered milk has also become a staple in UN food

relief efforts, fallout shelters, and community food banks, as a result of its easy storage, light

weight, and long shelf life.

Objective of the study

 To know the availability of different milk powder brands in Ghazipur market

 To find out the satisfaction level of customers from these milk powder
products

 To find out the factors which affect the customer preference in making
purchase decision

 To find out what are the effect of advertisement for these product to the
customer

 To know about their product & their market share.


Scope of study

Scope of the study means the area of study to which this project is limited. In other

words scope is the length and breathe of the study.

The purpose of study is to obtain information about the milk powder brands and

company which help in identification of problem and to determine the issue dimension and

magnitude to enumerate. The scope of study also to provide information to facility the

identification of an opportunity or problem situation and to assist manager in arriving at the

possible the decision on which such situation are encountered . The research has been done to

know the consumer preference.
