Directions: Compute the following

1. Compute for the total caloric yield of 200 grams of cassava.

Given: CHO = 84.65% CHON = 1.34% FAT = 0.64%
CHO =200g x 84.65%= 169.3 grams x 4= 677.2 cal. For carbs
CHON= 200g x 1.34%= 2.68 grams x 4= 10.72 cal. For proteins
FAT= 200g x 0.64%= 1.28 grams x 9= 11.52 cal. For fats
699.44 total calories yield in 200 grams of cassava.
2. Compute for the total caloric yield of 150 grams of Dilis.
Given: CHO = 0.98% CHON = 63.33% FAT = 1.63%
CHO=150g x 0.98%= 1.47 grams x 4= 5.88 cal. For carbs
CHON=150g x 63.33% = 94.995 grams x 4= 379.98 cal. For proteins
FAT=150g x 1.63%= 2.445 grams x 9= 22.005 cal. For fats
407.865 total calories yield in 150 grams of dilis.
3. Compute for the total caloric yield of 120 grams of Kangkong.
Given: CHO = 3.64 % CHON = 4.25% FAT = 0.04%
CHO= 120g x 3.64% =4.368 grams x 4= 17.472 cal. For carbs
CHON= 120g x 4.25%= 5.1 grams x 4= 20.4 cal. For proteins
FAT= 120g x 0.04%= 0.048 grams x 9= 0.432 cal. For fats
