    As you know, we submitted the CCTV pipeline inspection report for your kind review with letter
    ref-a and you commented about it with your letter ref-b. You may find our responses for your comments
    below

    Engineer Comment-1:“…We have found that there are sometimes significant deviations between your
    pipe lengths and those of the CCTV inspection. We ask you to explain these to us, especially those that we
    have highlighted in color in the attached table…”

    Contractor’s Reply-1: As you know, as a first step, operator of the CCTV system places the camera onto
    the basement of manhole manually and then starts the camera to measure length of lied pipes between two
    manholes and to record the situation of the inside of it. In addition, CCTV system measures the every
    movement of camera (back, front, right and left direction). Moreover, CCTV system starts the measurement
    when camera is opened and continues to the measurement until the closing of camera. During the
    measurement of the lied pipeline, as you detected in recorded videos, camera was directed back, front, right
    and left directions to observe the situation of the inside of pipe.

    Under the lighting of these explanations, we can say that deviations between our pipe lengths and
    those of the CCTV inspection were occurred because of the movements of the camera and starting & ending
    point of camera between two manholes. In other words, when operator drives the camera to the back, front,
    right and left directions, CCTV system record these movements as if it is length of lied pipeline. Moreover,
    if operator places the camera onto a point which a little bit behind or forward center of the manhole, it
    affects the measured pipeline.

    Engineer Comment-2:“ We are also attaching 14 pictures to this letter showing defects/material deposits
    that need to be remedied/removed.”

    Contractor’s Reply-2: Detected defects/ material deposits that need to be remedied/removed will be
    eliminated during the next CCTV inspection.
