ASSESSMENT 1 – ETHICS

MORAL ISSUE

1. Choose any Moral issue (for example: abortion), then define it

Abortion - An abortion can occur spontaneously, in which case it is also called a

miscarriage, or it may be deliberately brought in, whereas it is often called an induced abortion.

2. For other countries, what is abortion; is abortion legal, considered, done; is there a law
for it. Give data or statistics for it
China - Chinese social media has flooded with comments from women who did to what
they see as government's efforts to control their bodies, describing the apparent U-turn
over abortion as a desperate attempt to increase the country's falling birth rates. "The
female body became an instrument," said a top comment about Weibo, China's Twitter-
holding platform. "When (the state) you want to bear a child, you must do it at all costs.
When the state) does not want it, you may not be prayed at the risk of death. "The
abortion policy is included in an extensive government bucket to promote further benefits
of the rights about the next decade, covering areas of education to work, which has
retired the state-owned media to improve gender equality" to a higher level in the new
era. "The measure on abortion was part of a greater part on reproductive health provided,
such as increasing health education and access to contraception.Besides that short sense,
but no other details, such as how the abortion constraint will be implemented or what
criteria women would be required - is provided."But in fact, it is more obvious than I
expected because it enrolled in the form of this document issued by the Government of
State a member of the country of age." In spite of his shortness, the line is a statement of
central government policy, and it sends a signal to all local level (Communist Party)
frameworks that it is a priority of the central government, "she added.Under the one-child
policy, introduced in 1979, millions of women were forced to be able to terminate
"illegal" pregnancies. But in the past decade, China has completely enabled, as it begins
with the consequences of his one-child policy - a fast aging population and shrinking
workforce that threatened the country's economic growth. The government also launched
an aggressive propaganda campaign to encourage women to have more children, with
some local authorities, even even financial incentives for families. China wants families
three children. But many women are not so convinced, their efforts are best with a
lukewarm response to the best. Abortions also stayed high even after the one-child policy
was relaxed and government seismually selective termination.
USA - Wade. Anti-choice activists and politicians have since been to revise this decision
to see and we are now looking for the fruit of labor. The attacks on Roe also came when
President Trump appointed two new judges to the Supreme Court, which expressed both
anti-choice views. But it is important to acknowledge that the law is not the only factor
that determines whether people can have access to abortions. Since 1973, anti-choice
activists gradually walked away abortion access. It's already hard for many people to get
abortions in the US, take Alabama as an example. In May, Alabama's Governor in the
Act signed a Drakonic Bill which could do penalties exporting abortions with life in
prison. But in practice, abortion is already inaccessible for many people in Alabama.
Even then many people can not afford to terminate their pregnancies. Currently, all
statements must provide public funding for abortions in cases of rape, bloodshed or threat
to life - but in these places these releases will be irrelevant if hard new laws come into
force. There are nowhere close enough to abortion clinics in the US, there are six states in
the USA, which only have a clinic that offers abortion. Seven and twenty large American
cities and many of Rural America qualify as abortion "deserts", where most people live
more than 100 miles away from a poorist provider.Catching units are unnecessary
licensing requirements that can make it difficult for abortion service providers to stay
open. For example, state authorities can specify how wide the corridors can be in a
building where doctors export abortions, the size of parking spaces, or how far from
schools should be the premises. These requirements have nothing to do with patient
safety. Instead, they are used as a way to place as much pressure on abortion services
they are forced to close. This is the hardest law yet. Five State - Georgia, Ohio,
Kentucky, Mississippi and Louisiana - have envoted men who ban Abortion over the six
weeks - before many people even realize they are pregnant. But it's not just
straightforward. We are worried about the Guttmacher Institute, have abortion restrictions
between January 1 and May 15, 2019 alone. These include measures like to ban certain
general procedures and ask for parenting permission for teenagers who need abortions.
When executed with the help of a trained healthcare provider in sanitary conditions,
abortions are one of the safest medical procedures available. But when abortions are
limited or criminalized, people are forced to seek unsafe ways to end pregnancies.
Worldwide, an estimated five million women are hospitalized for hospitalization for the
treatment of abortion-related complications and approximately 47 000 women die. The
US has the highest mother's nail rate of any developed nation, and states with more
restrictive abortion laws have already higher tariffs of both babies and maternal deaths.
Therefore, these new laws are a recipe for disaster for women's health. These laws are
discriminatory people with low income teenagers, people of color, migrants and refugees
- are hitherto hit by abortion constraints because it is more difficult to pay, travel or time
from work. African American women are three or four times more likely to die in
pregnancy or childbirth as white women in the US, and this unfair inequality will
probably be hedged by new laws to make pregnancy more companion. These laws are
also another stroke for LGBTI people, who suffered a continuous attack on their rights
under the Trump administration. Transsens in the US have already major barriers to gain
access to reproductive health care, and these fluids will exclude from these new laws.
Trump's anti-abortion agenda does not affect only people in the US. In 2017, President
Trump has recovered and expanded a policy called the "Global Gagrand". This rule
stipulates that any overseas organization that receives our World Health Funding can no
longer be called abortion as part of their counseling or education programs, even if the
money for these specific programs is not from the US. Even if there are suppliers that a
pregnancy will endanger a woman's health, they can not tell her abortion an option or her
has a safe supplier. A recent study found that this policy makes a wide range of services
less accessible, including contraceptives, HIV / AIDS testing and treatment, cervical
cancer and support for survivors of gender-based violence An independent pollution in
January 2019 found that two-thirds of Americans think abortion should be right.
Japan - To be pregnant in Japan is good news. For some women, however, an unplanned
pregnancy had a impossible prospect until the term, social pressure, health or personal
reasons. If you happen to you, you have options. Depending on your own country, hold
attitudes and regulations regarding abortion more or less in the case than you are used.It
is also not uncommon. If you have to take this by the scary, there are some basic
information about what to do before you do it - and how to be prepared for it.Medical
abortion ('Abortion Pil') is not available in Japan. Abortion is legitimately to the third
trimester, after which it can only be carried out if the mother's life is threatened. The only
exception is here if you can document that the Father is missing, deceased whether the
pregnancy is the result of rape. In fact, however, the clinic will not verify who the actual
father is, so if you are not comfortable with the fact that the father, which you can ask or
with a male friend, asking to sign the consent form.
3. In the Philippines, is abortion legal, considered, done; is there a law for it. Give data or
statistics for it. Despite the progress made in the Reproductive Health Act, many Filipino
women suffer from unintentional pregnancies and because abortion is strongly
stigmatized in the country, many who seek abortion are subject to unsafe procedures. The
present report provides a summary of reproductive health indicators in the Philippines in
particular, levels of contraceptive use, unplanned pregnancy and unsafe abortion,
describing the socio-political context in which services are provided, the consequences of
unintentional pregnancy and unsafe abortion, and recommendations for improved access
to reproductive health services. The Philippines, with a gradual increasing population
approaching 100 million, stands significantly challenges in the field of reproductive
health. There are 25 million of his citizens of reproductive period, and they experience
high levels of unintentional pregnancy, used relatively low levels of contraceptives and
often experience unsafe abortion and consequently high levels of mortality and
morbidity.2-4. This report summarizes existing evidence on the context and
consequences of unintentional pregnancy and unsafe abortion in the Philippines -
especially among vulnerable populations like poor, rural and young women - and
emphasize key areas in which policy makers and reproductive health benefits can focus
on the health and well-being of Filipino women and their families. Women's access to
reproductive health services have challenges or straight opposition of various often-
generated segments of filipino society. However, it is generally supported by the
Philippine public. In December 2012, legislators passed the bill and president Aquino
signed in the law. Unlike the liberalizing trend in contraception policy, the Philippines'
abortion law is under the strictest in the world. A separate set of laws in terms of the
obstetrics Act, Medical Act and Pharmaceutical Act, the revocation or suspension of the
licenses of any practitioner exports or offering aberrations.

4. In your own opinion. Would you consider doing it; what is your perspective about it or to
other people doing it. For me I will not consider it because for me it was illegal, it is
against my will and also to God's will, because if you do abortion, you already kill a
human, and God does not want you to do that crusial thing, every life is so precious and
important.
