HERO'S FORMULA

Area = Square root of√s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)

BY BRINDA IX-B

INTERESTING?
Honestly about herons formula also known as
heros formula I thought it was a formula that
could make math easy as it is called heros
formula but indeed it is something as to calculate
triangles area there is no need to calculate angles
or other distances in the triangle first unlike other
triangle area formulae.

ANYTHING NEW?
Heron's formula, formula credited to Heron of
Alexandria (c. 62 ce) for finding the area of a
triangle in terms of the lengths of its sides. In
symbols, if a, b, and c are the lengths of the sides:
Area = Square root of√s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c) where s
is half the perimeter, or (a + b + c)/2.

There is no need to calculate

angles or other distances in
the triangle, Did I make it
easy? AM I A HERO?
