Products Power and Infrastructure

Scope: The project involved, designing of To-Be processes of Implementation of


GST.
GST Overview: Goods and Services Tax (GST) is an indirect tax which was
introduced in India on 1 July 2017 and was applicable throughout India which
replaced multiple cascading taxes levied by the central and state governments.
GST was initially proposed to replace a slew of indirect taxes with a unified tax
and was therefore set to dramatically reshape the country's 2 trillion-dollar
economy. The GST is governed by a GST Council and its Chairman is the
Finance Minister of India. Under GST, goods and services are taxed at the
following rates, 0%, 5%, 12% ,18% and 28%.

Responsibilities:
 Analyzing the current SAP Setup and preparation of time lines for execution.
 GAP analysis.
 Blueprint Preparation.
 Understanding of GST norms as per the guidelines of the government and
adjusting taxation, pricing schema and reports as per the business requirement.
 MM Master Data conversion.
 Additional organizational setup like plants and purchasing elements.
 Configured the Critical purchasing process like Imports, Subcontracting / Job
work by complying with existing user defined enhancements
 Configured the purchase tax procedures as per the new set of taxes.
 Configured STO process for Intra and Intercompany transfers
 Configured the changes in the purchase return process.
 New forms development and changes in the existing forms as per the GST changes.
 User development activities like training, UAT and Hypercare support.
Roles& Responsibilities for (Implementation)

 Initially done system study and had multiple discussions with business.
 Identified the problematic configurations and bring it to the top management
notice.
 Participated in business blue print phase, gathered the requirements and prepared
the business blue print document and taken the BBP sign off.
 Configurations done as per the business requirement and unit tested.
 Later done integration testing with other modules like FI CO, SD
 Worked on Custom reports, forms and enhancements
 Worked on logistic information system which will help top management with
standard analysis reports.
 Worked on data migration using BDC, LSMW.
 Worked on cutover activities
 Trained the user on business process flow
 Prepared user manuals and distributed to respective users.
 Participated in UAT phase and got the signoff from the client.

 Created some new document types when new depo operations have been started

ASAP Methodology and according to Global Template
 Environment: ECC 6.0
Responsibilities:
 Providing production support as per SLA’s.
 User support in Production Environment under level 2 support in the AMS.
 Interacting with the onsite coordinator for clarifications, further suggestions
and enhancements in the functional design.
 Attending for weekly status calls on issues/tickets.
 Resolving tickets as SLA and met 95 % of SLA’s.
 Prepare solution document, root cause document, user manuals based on
the tickets.
 Worked on the change request (developed new reports in inventory
management as per the customer requirement)
