I nurture and develop my faith in God by practicing my own belief which is experienced through
many events. One of the examples is going to churches every Sunday and attending Simbang Gabi
before Christmas. As a family-oriented Filipino, we can build a personal relationship not just from our
own families but in our friends, relatives, other people and even God. The importance of attending
masses is that our faith in God will grow and foster together with our family and extended family, and to
build the community by being there together, building a way of living together as Filipinos. Being
together for such an effort is cement, as it were, for the community and is a sign of one’s identity.
