Abstract
In electronic system, device failure will occur due to different things one of them is
lack of giving right amount of electricity for our devices (variation of input voltage,
and the load current). This problem is solved by Voltage regulators. Voltage regulators
are used to offer fixed voltage at the output terminal and does not depend on the
variations at input voltage supplied temperature and load current (as long as it is
greater than the required voltage). They are available invariant of output like 5V, 6V,
9V, 12, and 15V. But to get the desired regulated output voltage within the range is an
issue. The main purpose of designing Variable Power Supply System from Fixed
Voltage Regulator is to provide desired regulated output voltage within the range by
taking single linear voltage regulator IC as its heart. It works under dual purpose that
means through converting of a varying input voltage into constant regulated output
voltage by voltage regulators, and the output of voltage regulator can be increased by
using pair of voltage divider resistors. The system has been constructed by taking
some electrical components, and devices, but they have enormous importance like
Step Down Transformer, Capacitor, Resistors, Voltage Regulator IC, Rectifier, mini
breadboard, and connecting wire are used Furthermore it has been designed, and
analytic ways as well as the final simulation result is pointed by using PROTEUS
Software.
