    First of all, lets pray and thank unto our God Allah SWT, who has been giving us
    mercies and blessings so we can attend in this nice place in good condition and happy
    situation.
    Secondly, sholawat and salam always be with our best prophet Muhammad SAW,
    who has guided us from the darkness to the brightness from the stupidity to the cleverness
    namely islam religion.
    Standing in front of you all I’m Shafia Ramadhani from Bumi Shalawat Junior High
    School. I would like to present my speech under the title….

    RESPECT OUR TEACHER AS A GOOD MANNER AT SCHOOL

    Facing this era, we can sign it as digital era because everything is digitalized.
    Sometimes bad manner occurs is caused by seeing worst thing on their phone. The youth of
    today is only and only wasting time on chatting, messaging, uploading photographs and
    modifying profiles. The smart phones and 4G connections have made the situation worse.
    Accessing such sites has become so easy that young boys and girls are using these sites
    almost everywhere and almost all the time. There is no good thing that builds their characters
    become good people if they only focus on their phone. Ok I’m not going to tell deeply about
    this phenomenon, but we live in millennial era of course by this condition we really need to
    concern about something that can happen nowadays. Moral education is an important part of
    the students like us to be strong to face this crazy era.

    Why do I say crazy era? the young people easy to consume kinds of bad things
    without any filtering. Many students are not respect to each other, bully their friends and even
    disobey to the role of school. Did you hear the news recently? Student in the city of Manado,
    North Sulawesi, identified as 16-year-old, has been charged with the murder of his own
    teacher. The student stabbed his teacher 14 times after being scolded for smoking. The
    teacher advised a good thing than being ignored. Just because of prohibition to smoke than
    easily took someone’s life. Can you imagine that? That is really sick. But he has been
    rewarded for his cruel deeds.

    Besides home as our first education in life, our education is also coming from the school from
    our teacher as our second parents. Manners are an important part of human nature and life.
    Good manners earn you respect and dignity. Good manners also lead to good habits which
    lead to both individual growth and overall development of the society. It is inappropriate to
    behave badly especially with our own teacher because they teach us many things pray for our
    success, help us to reach our bright future. But why are we so rude to them? Do you know
    that the good manner is a trait for successful people? The answer is yes, because most
    successful people in the world are those who uphold their modesty. Therefore, the nature of
    courtesy or good manner is very good and beneficial for students today.

    So do you want to be a success people someday? Start now please behave politely and
    considerately in class, don't miss class or be late, study hard, show an interest in the subject,
    hand in assignments on time, and earn good grades. Teachers like to feel that students
    achieve success with the help of their quality teaching. They work hard to make it happen
    too, so it makes them ridho with all of our achievement. Trust me if you got the teacher’s
    ridho you will find all the conveniences in life.
