• The Red River Delta Territory is home to ¼ of the entire


population of Vietnam, roughly amounting to 22 million
citizens, 15 million of which are situated outside of Hanoi
• Ecopark currently is situated at the crossroads between these
large population centers and Hanoi
• With the urbanization rate in Vietnam increasing at a rapid rate
(6 percentage points in the last 10 years), Hanoi is looking to
attract a large percentage of rural residents over the next 5
year, funneling in through the east.

ports, are all situated to the east of the Red River. Naturally,

the readjustment of Hanoi’s Capital City Masterplan for
Vision 2030 – 2050
▪ Pursuant to Decision 1259/QĐ-TTG, the readjustment
