The Royal Wedding
On the 19th of May 2018, Prince Harry married Meghan Markle. The wedding was paid for by the
UK taxpayers, at a cost of around $45 million (most of this being spent on security). After watching
the video and discussing the value and importance of the Royal Family – do you think it is fair that
the UK taxpayers should pay for this? Consider factors such as tourism, cultural preservation,
public happiness, etc.

Unelected or Elected
The British people must vote for who they want to be their political representatives – but they
cannot vote for who their Monarch will be. Does this seem fair in modern society? Do you think that
