1. Using the Web, search for “software firewalls.”  Examine the various alternatives available and
compare their functionality, cost, features, and type of protection. Create a weighted ranking
according to your own evaluation of the features and specifications of each software package.

Software firewalls are most installed on personal computers, laptops, mobiles, etc. with
network or offline use (stand alone).These software blocks and detects malwares, trojans,
viruses and other possible intrusion on the user’s computer.

The following are the leading antivirus software as of 2020:

1. Bitdefender Antivirus Plus 2020:
Rated as #1 best antivirus software of 2020. Provides overall and excellent virus
protection, a widespread list of features and has a minimum impact on system
performance. The benefits having this antivirus are 1) Safe from all new and existing
threats. 2) Anti-Phishing Protection. 3)Fast, anonymous and secure while browsing the
web. 4)Game, Movie and work modes. Bitdefender is a full-packaged of software
security that is cost-worthy. The price is P1079.60 pesos on up to 3 devices with an
upgrade of VPN service for P1319.4 pesos. I would rank this marvelous software 1 st on
my overall antivirus software rankings.

Norton provides an exceptional antivirus suite that protects you against all kinds
of online threats including viruses, spyware and ransomware. It is knows for High-
accuracy, low-impact antivirus with online backup capabilities.  Norton can back up
those claims with excellent results in industry antivirus tests from where Norton 360
scored perfect marks in the most recent round of testing. Users also get access to a
password manager along with 2GB of online cloud storage to help users’ most
vulnerable files that could otherwise be lost if users’ home computer was compromised.
Norton cost for about P 1166.05 pesos for 1 year of license for 1 device. It is less
expensive that Bit Defender with on par scale for performance as antivirus. All I can say
that it is worth the price. I would rank this as 3rd among my antivirus rankings.

3. F-Secure Antivirus:
F-Secure Antivirus SAFE is kind of the intense piece of antivirus software. It
comes with fantastic additional features to stay your system secure, like banking
protection for safe online shopping, and safety tools to guard your entire family,
including points in time and content blocking. This protection extends beyond your PC,
too, with a tool finder that may facilitate your run a lost Android or iOS device - and
remotely lock or wipe it too, to stay data safe. F-Secure is expensive that the two above
its price is P 3,368.90 for 1 year and 1 device. I would rank this as last or 5 th on my
ranking due to its price.

Another huge name when it involves antivirus software and with good reason,
Kaspersky Anti-Virus is one among the simplest antivirus suites we’ve ever seen - of
course the sole reason it doesn’t top out our list is that the lack of extras and add-ons.
But as an antivirus program first and foremost, Kaspersky is peerless. You get
protection from viruses, spyware, malware, ransomware, Delaware, and an entire host
of common hacking techniques. When tested recently by antivirus experts at AV Test
and AV Comparatives, Kaspersky Anti-Virus scored perfect marks, blocking every single
malicious file that was sent against it. The price for this software is P 1,144 for 1 year
only for 1 device also supports multiple devices but the price varies on the number of
devices will be used. I personally rank this at 2nd place on my list.

5. McAfee Total Protection:

McAfee Total Protection offers an excellent product through the years ‘til now. It
stood up to between 97.8 and 98.4 you look after attacks within the most up-to-date

3. Research on the future technology of Firewalls and VPN

ANSWER:
The future technology of Firewalls according to Nettitude will depend on a business network
have. As the cyber security threats evolved so does the ability of firewalls to combat with
