 Remember this is going to be far more time consuming than scanning

 To read intensively is to learn from a chosen reading material.
 Intensive reading is deconstructing a reading material with the objectiv
of absorbing as much meaning from it as possible.

unlikely that students will undertake
extensive reading of a text they do
not like.
