    The gathering will be a coming together of groups and individuals from civil society organizations,
    government, and the private sector including informal community collectors on E-waste
    management with the following objectives:

    • To provide an avenue for the exchange of learnings and information through the
    presentation of research, innovative efforts, and policies in managing the proliferation of
    e-waste in the Philippines from the government, private sector, and civil society
    organizations.
    • To present and discuss the current effort of the DENR - Environmental Management
    Bureau on DAO 2013-22 “Revised Procedures and Standards for the Management of
    Hazardous Wastes”.
    • To provide an avenue for a dialogue between stakeholders from civil society
    organizations, DENR-EMB, select LGUs, and academic institutions on e-waste.
    • To build partnerships with government and the private sector on e-waste management
    in the Philippines.
