Product Guarantee

At Gemma, we produce tiles from high quality fired building materials, of

natural mineral origins such as clay, quartz and Feldspars. Due to the
intrinsic features of the natural mineral materials, tiles’ shade variation
may arise and be sorted. The shade variation is not considered a
defect in the material, rather than an embedded feature of the materials
nature.

Any claim relating to the quality or type of material must be received

within 14 days from the delivery date. It should be noted that installation
of the tiles releases our company from any liability.
Guarantee against defects is only limited to first choice goods and to
qualities above the accepted margin of 5%. According to test method
ISO 10 545-2 the scope of guarantee is not covering neither the
installation quality nor the area of application.

Laying Recommendations

In case of laying the tiles with cement mortar on out-door surfaces, please
take the necessary precautions of considering the thermal expansion
difference effect by referring to 2008 TCA handbook for ceramic tile
installation. In the cleaning phase, the use of abrasive products during
plastering could lead to damages and scratching of the tiles.

Special Instructions for decorative Tiles with Gold, Luster

and Platinum Pieces

Before Installation: Please handle the product carefully.

During Installation: Please avoid using any tools that might cause
scratches.
Immediately after Installation: Please clean the surface using a wet piece
of cotton cloth or sponge.
The Plastic protective layer could be removed only upon completion of
installation and cleaning.
During periodic cleaning, please clean the surface using a wet piece of
cotton cloth and an ordinary cleaner solution.
