II. Project Summary

The target area for pavement concreting is located in front of the BRO Building and
Sulong PA Ilagan Building. The ease that the project will give the ISATians will help in
improving the learning environment and also for beautification purposes.
Concreting of the pavement will also lift passersby particularly the learners, faculty and
staff of ISAT going to SHS building from the danger brought by the usual muddy and slippery
condition of the road.
The project is a maximized collaboration in school planning design through consultative
planning, design and project implementation involving a wide spectrum of representatives from
the different stakeholders of the school.
The estimated project time-frame is from April to June 2021 with an estimated total cost
of P598,108.00
III. Project Background

Flooding is the nation’s most common natural disaster. School ground may be subject to
erosion and scour, with the possible loss of soil and damaged to paved areas, including access
roads.
The primary function of educational facilities is to provide the proper school environment
that is most conducive to effective teaching and learning. It shall be responsive to changes in
teaching methods and school organization taking into consideration the changes in educational
process which has become more active, interrelated, and has become an integral part of the wider
community.
Through the comprehensive planning of the school’s administration with the stakeholders
and constant evaluation of educational facilities and school grounds the project needs to be
implemented to avoid future accident that may happen due to muddy and slippery sidewalks. It
will also serve as the parking area of the school.

IV. Project Objective

The project will surely enhance the learning capabilities of the students for the maximum
development of their potential, skills and talents.
Concrete pavements are durable and safe. They are considerably less prone to wear and
potholes that can cause future accident.
It is also a good area in case of emergencies that will require students to immediately
evacuate from their classrooms (such as in case of fire or earthquake).
This project will also serves as parking area.
