LESSON PLAN OF ORIENTATION DAY – DAY 1

Class The Place
1. Teacher needs to make a scambled photo
of school’s facilities, such as UKS, library,

3. The teacher make a lottery of groups’s
name, the choosen group will get the

08.30 - 09.00 To learn about Activity1:


the rules and
consequences A. Group discussion

 The teacher invites all students to discuss


the class rules and consequences.
 Teacher needs to do these steps:
a) Teacher encourages students to share
ideas about possible rules and writes the
ideas on the board The rules
b) Teacher and students analyze the rules 15 minutes and
c) Teacher and students decide the best movement
rules for the class
*note: there are only 7 rules maximum
 After the rules have been made and agreed
by all class members.
*note: if CT has made the rules cards to be
paste on the wall of the class (after the
discussion), have the students sign on some
space of the cards.
(Make sure that the grammar is correct)
 Get them to say the rules out loud and make
a pledge that they will follow the rules.
*note: for primary 1, the care teacher has to
use flashcards to introduce the class rules.
Provide some FC of the flashcards to
introduce them to students.

B. Mirror!
1. The teacher invites all students to discuss
the movement and decide the best one for
each rule.
2. The teacher says the rules one by one with
movement.
3. Have the students copy the rules and the
movements.
4. Play it three times.
5. Have the students do it in pair.
6. Remind all students to do it everytime they
recite the class rules.

2. One of each group choose a number paper.
Example: no. 3 is “bird”
3. Eaach group make a story about its word (bird)

4. Each round only 1 minute
5. The last student should close the story with a
conclusion
6. The group that make the most interesting story is
the winner

Activity 2:
Click-Me!
1. Students are divided into 3-4 groups.
2. Teacher show the slide box, consist of “WHO” Click-me
box, “ACTIVITY” box, “HOW” box, and “BONUS” slide and
box. gun-bomb-
3. 1st group choose “who” box for who do the 10 minutes angel slide
activity. It’s can be others group do the activity
then choose what activity, how much/ many
activity and the bonus box (divide or multiply)
4. The activity consist of several actions such as
jumping, sits up, jumping jacks, and clapping
hands, etc.
5. Student choose one of the number in the Gun,
Boomb, and Angels slide.
6. If they get Gun, so the group the point from other
group (depends on how many guns there are)
7. If get Bomb, so the group lose the point
(depends on how many bomb there are)
8. If get Angel, so the froup get extra point
(depends on how many angel there are)
9. Game continue to the next group

or horizontal box will be the winner.
