Act I

Sequencing Events

Below is a list of events that occurred in Act I of the story. Put these in order by writing a 1 by the event
that happened first, a 2 by the event that happened next, and continue until all the events are
numbered. The first one has been done for you.

_______ a. Duncan and his royal party arrive at Inverness.

_______ b. Duncan announces that his son Malcolm will inherit the throne.

_______ c. The three witches tell Macbeth that he shall be king.
