As an IT student and being a bookkeeper at the same time for 4 years. I
was able to have initial experience and knowledge to fit in this position. I took lots of classes about programming that I think would be very beneficial in this job. I have learned cross-platform collaboration like Quickbooks and Microsoft Apps. Lastly, expertise at performing bank reconciliations, handling sales tax return, invoicing, billing, product inventory and preparing financial statements because of my prior experiences.

My prior experience of joining workshops about programming also helps me gain valuable skills like being detail-oriented, well organized, computer proficient, and people skills that are absolutely needed to be a great bookkeeper.
