    ENGAGING SCHOOL LEADERS AND TEACHERS IN NAVIGATING COMPUTER


    APPLICATIONS/COMMUNICATION PLATFORMS AND ITS UTILIZATION FOR
    THE IMPROVEMENT OF SCHOOL OPERATIONS AND LEARNING
    MANAGEMENT

    1. DepEd Memorandum CI Nos. 00162 s. 2020, provides the suggested strategies in


    implementing and managing the Distance Learning Delivery Modalities(DLDM) for School
    Year 2020-2021.

    2. A needs assessment was conducted in August 2020 by HRDD- NEAP CALABARZON on


    the knowledge and skills of teachers and school leaders in the different communication
    platforms, and learning delivery modality. Most teachers and school leaders responded
    that they found difficulty in using the different communication platforms and collaborating
    with peers, colleagues and learners.

    3. Relative to the aforesaid, this Schools Division together with the city divisions of
    Batangas Cluster in coordination with HRDD- NEAP CALABARZON will conduct a
    Capability Building on Engaging School Leaders and Teachers in Navigating
    Computer Applications/Communications Platforms and Its Utilization for the
    Improvement of School Learning Management on March 1-5, 2021, 1:00 -5:00 in the
    afternoon via FB Live. The training preliminaries will be done at 12:30 pm hence the
    participants are requested to join the meet starting 12:00 noon.

    4. Participants to this learning activity are the teachers, school heads, and supervisors
    whose names were provided by the NEAP RO and can be seen in this link
    http://bit.ly/sdobatscourse2.

    5. Select District ICT Coordinators are chosen to act as Google Class Managers. Please
    see attached.
