Me and my Daily Activities

The starting situation:


Your e-pal Margaret sends you a letter in which she asks you
about your mother’s daily activities.
Write a letter and sends it to her in which you tell her what your
mother does every day!
Task 01: Reorder the jumbled words to get a coherent sentence.

Telling the time:

Djawed: why do we use it?
Ayoub: we use it to tell time.
Djawed: What time is it?
Ayoub: it is four O’clock.
Note:
1. Minute hand is bigger.
2. Hour hand is smaller and is pointing to 8.
Example:

3. Minute hand is pointing to 2 so we say ten past.


4. So, we say it is ten past eight.
How to tell time:
1. To tell time, the minute hand is said first then the hour hand.

Bob’s Daily Routine


Bob’s daily routine is a little boring but he enjoy it. He usually get up
at 6.00 A.M after his alarm clock wake him up. First, he brush his teeth
and wash his face. Then, he get dressed and go downstairs to have
breakfast with his family. After that, he take a bus to work because he
does not have his own car. His favorite time of the day is when he
finish his work because he want to go back home and kiss his kids
with whom he play and watch TV programmes. For him it is the best
moment ever!

The rule:

1. To describe the daily activities, i use the present simple tense


with he, she and I.
Examples: I get up at 7.00a.m.
He gets up at 6.30a.m.
2. To ask questions about daily activities, time and likes, I use what,
at what time and when.
Examples:

Spotlight:

I use “when” to ask about time in general or as a part of the day.


I use “what” to ask about daily activities.
I use “the present simple” to alk about my daily activities (repeated actions).
