Subject: Offer to Contract for the Post of Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Dear Mr.

Consequent upon the recommendations of the Selection Committee& Manager HR, you are hereby offered
permanent/contractual appointment for the subject post at Leader Appliances for KPK Region in Sales &
Marketing Department. Confirmation of your appointment is based on successful completion of probationary
period.

This offer letter states that the Employee agrees that he will at all times faithfully, industriously, and to the
best of his/her skills, experience and talents, perform all the duties required of his position offered by (Leader
Appliances). It is also understood and agreed to by the employee that the Employer in its sole discretion may
change his/her assignment, duties and responsibilities, and reporting arrangements without causing
termination of the agreement.

As “Area Sales Manager”, your foremost duties are;

 Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective
customers.
 Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
 Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
 Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
 Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
 Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
 Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
 Analyze market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
 Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and
potential for new products and services.
 Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
 Continuously improve through feedback.

Compensation

Confirmation of your appointment is based on successful completion of probationary period. After the
probation period you will be entitled to a Basic Salary, incentives and other benefits. The probation period will
be of minimum 1 month and the compensation during this one month will be on the basis of Commission
Policy. The commission structure is as followed:

2nd Month if probation complete salary + perks offered on your performance.

Resignation

After completion of the period of probation you will be confirmed as a regular employee and thereafter your
employment may only be terminated, without assigning any reason, either by you giving the organization one
month’s notice in writing or by the Company giving you one month’s notice in writing or one month’s salary in
lieu of notice. However, no notice by the company will be required to be given and no salary in lieu of notice
will be payable in the event of termination of your service is due to misconduct, of which the immediate
reporting body shall be the sole judge.

Terms and Conditions

 You are required to submit a personal blank dual signed cheque of any regular bank for the security
up till the assigned period of the contract of employment and the Company in return will issue you a
receiving, as a security, by assuring you not to be used against you for any personal issues. ( Which
means only for business transactions against company products)
 You will be reporting directly to Director Sales at the head office in Lahore.
 None of the employees are allowed to work for any other company other than us ( Leader Appliances)
which has a common business interest in the market or so called competitors involved in the same
line of products will be considered at a breach of contract and shall be subject to litigation as per the
laws of Government of Pakistan.
 The professional, ethical and any other issues which are not relevant to the company’s business even
then if it is against the laws of the country, company reserves the right to take serious action towards
the employee by immediate termination OR any other legal action/ internal action as per the
company’s policy.
 You will be responsible for the office equipment used personally and returned in proper condition at
the end of employment.
 You are not eligible to receive any payment except for the one mentioned in your contract.

 The company will have the right to deduct the monetary value of all such things from your dues and
take other actions, as the company deems proper in the event of your failure to account for such
property to the company’s satisfaction
 Confidentiality is of utmost importance. All the information and legal documents should be
completely kept confidential. Failure to do so can result in legal action and/or termination
 In case of breach of any terms of this document or company rules and regulations that may constitute
a misconduct on your part, your services are liable to immediate termination and you will not be
entitled to any compensation as a result thereof.
 In the event your performance during the Probationary Period of 1 month does not warrant the
continuation of your employment, the Company may terminate your employment at any point of the
Probationary Period without any notice or pay in lieu of notice. You may resign at any time during the
Probationary Period without any notice and company has the right to publish in local newspaper
about the news of your termination.
 This offer letter is valid for max. of 4 working days after the date of issue. If the employee fails to
respond to this offer within the given time period the offer will be automatically revoked.

NOTE: Kindly ask for detailed policies once you have been appointed which may serve as a guideline
for your employment at Leader Appliances.
