From Photo to Finish

THE ULTIMATE FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY CHECKLIST

Hey there!

A food shoot has a lot of steps, but it needn't be overwhelming. I created this
checklist to make sure you cover all the essential steps when taking, editing
and exporting your photos.

Take your photos (in RAW format!)

Select the photos you want to keep and discard the rest
tip: You can do this directly inside Lightroom to keep your workflow quick
and efficient!

Create a collection in Lightroom for these photos and add them to it,
this makes it much easier to keep track of your work later.

Add your meta data to your photos when importing them to Lightroom
(important copyright info!)

Edit your photos how you like

Export your images in the size you need

tip: If your images are going on a website, check the size you need in
pixels and export in that size.

Backup your files! Preferably on an external harddrive and a cloud

backup service.

Upload your photos to the platform you're publishing them on. If it's
your blog, add an alt description for good SEO.
