    I-Objectives
    At the end of the discussion, students should be able to:

    III- Procedure
    A. Preparatory Activities

    Checking of attendance

    B. Motivation
    The teacher will present a picture of a clock with roman numerals instead of real numbers
    and ask the students what are their thoughts about the picture.

    C. Discussion
    The teacher will explain what is roman numerals including its rules to her students,
    In rules for formation of Roman-numerals system there is no symbol or digit for zero. This
    system has no place value system. The digit or digits of lower value is/are placed after or
    before the digit of higher value. The value of digits of lower value is added to or
    subtracted from the value of digit of higher value.
    I=1 V=5 X=10 L=50 C=100 D=500 M=1000

    D. Activities
    Activity1.The teacher will present a roman numerals in a cartolina and ask students to
    translate it into numbers.
    Activity2. The teacher will present a certain numbers and call some students to translate
    it into roman numerals.

    E. Generalization
    The letters that you must remember in writing roman numerals are the; I, V, X, L, C, D,
    and M. I=1, V=5, X=10, L=50, C=100, D=500 and M=1000.
    F. Evaluation
    Get one fourth sheet of paper and translate the following numbers into roman numerals:

    1.) 99=
    2.) 72=
    3.) 83=
    4.) 57=
    5.) 59=
    6.) 38=
    7.) 45=
    8.) 64=
    9.) 68=
    10.) 100=

    Assignments:
    In a one half sheet of paper, translate the following roman numerals into numbers:
