In the name of allah , the beneficent, the mercifull, all praises be to allah the lord of the
world, the master of the dayafter , the creator of every thing in this universe .
Let’s thanks to allah who has given us mercy and blessing , until we can meet to gether in this
beautiful, place.
Peace and salutation be upon to our propet Muhammad saw. Who has broug us from the
darkness to the ligness and I will never forget to says .to chairman,chairwomen who has
given me a little time to deliver my speech , under the title;
The proud generation
Ladies and gantlemen
We are between expectation and challenge in life.the expectation is that we see the
resurgence of islam,where the masjid and institutation of realigius call are develofing
everywhere. However, the challenge we face today is the infiltration of western cultures into
the life of islam especially through television,computer,interned,and the other. In fact , they
bring a negative effect.as dr freedom William stated that one of the effect of communication
media is the changing of culture in the society. The canging often leads to a positif effect
and negative effect.the proof is a lot of young generations,inclunding students who are
involvet into a black surrounding of free sex,pornography,alcoholic drink and drugs. Most ef
them always imitatewhat become ‘up to date’ without filtering and thinking before.and they
never make balance between thought and desire ,planning and implementationand between
ability and action.
Audience,youth is the generation next of this country.so how this country’s future is, if the
most of them get a drop in their moral values ? consectuently, day by day is close to the
destruction.
Therefour, the only espectationto save the nation from this real destruction is the young
generaton. However, the challenges problem the face are difficult.being realizet the urgency
of the role of young generation in developing a country allah swt stated in surah an nisa
verse 9;
And let tose executor and guardians have the same fear in their minds as they would have foe
their own,if they had left weak offspring behind.so, let them fear allah and speak right words.
My brothers and sisters
We should be afraid if be come a weak generation, wether in physic,knowledge,and the spirit

of life.the mous dangerous ones is the weakness of faith and moral .why? because they will
poisen our life.if the such dangerous ones happen . we will not be come pioneer of
development. Nauzubillah summa nauzubillah.
To create the country of Indonesia that is safe, peace ,prosperous,and religious ,have to carry
out the three important thing in order we become a proud generation.
the first is discipline. The proud generation has to keep a high discipline. They are diligent to
work and easy to help the others. All of that are for reaching the bright and beautiful
future.otherwise if we are lazy never taste the sweet of honey but they will sink in the
bitterness of bile,there is no happiness without pain, there is no struggle without sacrifies . the
idleness is the youth will be destruction in the old age.
The second is honesty.honesty is one of the characteristic of the proud generation .the
honesty l mean is not only to the other persons but also tu us.a proud man must be able to
cooperate with anyone because a good cooperation will realize a strong personality. From
hudhaifa; allah’s apostle said to us,honesty descended from the heavens and settled in the
roots of the hearts of men faitful believers.
Third,perseverance. The proud generation is not to give up and he always perseverance to

work using his skill and profession. He will keep trying diligently an finally lead him to the
high dedication for the better and high quality job. Allah swt stated in surah yusuf verse; 87
Never give up hope allah’s mercy. Certainly no one despairs of allah’s mercy except the
people who disbelieve.
From the above verse ,it is clear that giving up in all aspect is forbidden by religion,whether
in working studying and reaching the desires. Because it is the characters of unbelievers.
Trought this occasion l wold like to suggest to the young generation who will be a leader of
nation.from thisc moment,let’s roll up sleeve, step forward our foot to reach the bright
future,develop five potential to improve the human resourches,sensitize the senses in order
the faith is strong ,do the exercise to make your body healthy,manage your business to in
crease the economy ,and maximize the to multiply the productivity. If these five potentials
are in the selp of young generation , l am sure that they will able to continue the development
in future.
Borhers and sisters
Using the three elements and five potentials in the globalization era young generation are
expected to participate actively to be pioneers of development in the effort to release the
people of this country from the acute crisis .finally , if the three elements and the five
potentials are applied . l sure Indonesia will be a prous perous country as we dream about
.thus ,the speech l can deliver and l am sorry for the mistake l made.
