Annex to DDM

display optical-module
Function

The display optical-module extend information slot slot-id [card card-id ] command displays
current voltage/power values and alarm thresholds of all optical modules on a specified subcard.
The display optical-module base information slot slot-id [card card-id ] command displays
basic information about the vendor, bandwidth, type, wavelength, and optical power of all optical
modules on a specified subcard.
The display optical-module extend information interface { interface-name | iftype inifnum }
command displays current voltage/power values and alarm thresholds of all optical modules on a
specified interface.
The display optical-module base information interface { interface-name | iftype inifnum }
command displays basic information about the vendor, bandwidth, type, wavelength, and optical
power of all optical modules on a specified interface.
The display optical-module extend information controller { interface-name | iftype inifnum }
command displays current voltage/power values and alarm thresholds of all optical modules on a
specified interface.
The display optical-module base information controller { interface-name | iftype inifnum }
command displays basic information about the vendor, bandwidth, type, wavelength, and optical
power of all optical modules on a specified interface.
The display optical-module version command displays the version information of the optical-
module.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario
To perform one-click query about the fixed, version information and dynamic information of all
optical modules, run the preceding commands. These commands are specially intended for
querying about dynamic information (such as the threshold and real-time value for the
temperature, voltage, and bias current) of the optical modules when they are faulty.
For the display optical-module version command, optical modules that support upgrade include
Huawei CFP (colored or gray) optical modules, QSFP28 optical modules, and mapped Acacia
optical modules.
Precautions
In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.

Result
PLD or Flash Whether a PLD/flash initialization fault occurs on CFP series
Initialization Fault optical modules. If such a fault occurs, abnormal is
displayed. Otherwise, normal is displayed.
PLD or Flash Whether the function to report a PLD/flash initialization fault
Initialization Fault is enabled for CFP series optical modules. By default, this
Enable function is enabled.
