    Daifuku BCS High Speed Diverter

    Introduction

    The Daifuku BCS high speed diverter is designed to divert preselected bags from the main carrying
    conveyor to an alternative conveyor.

    Function

    The diverter paddles, when automatically deployed, intercepts the path of an approaching bag and by
    using the powered high friction belts on the paddle arms, the bag is assisted on to the alternate conveyor.

    The Daifuku BCS high speed diverter can be used to automatically sort individual bags or can be used in
    a fallback operation to sweep all oncoming bags to the alternate conveyor.

    The Daifuku BCS high speed diverter can cycle at a rate of 60 bags per minute.

    Technical Data

    The Daifuku BCS high speed diverter is designed to be simple, compact and modular. The 2200mm long
    frame is installed inline replacing a standard transport conveyor section. There are only two major moving
    parts which are the plough paddles itself.

    The plough arm is mounted on a single pivot shaft. This pivot shaft connects to a drive mechanism that
    activates the paddles with a failsafe restricted range of motion.
