    A scrotal Doppler ultrasound was performed on a male patient and found both testes and epididymes to be normal in size and texture with no lesions seen. Doppler analysis showed normal low impedance waveforms in the intra-testicular arteries and high impedance waveforms with reversed diastolic flow in the extra-testicular arteries. No varicoceles or hydroceles were detected. The impression was that there were no significant abnormalities.

    SCROTAL DOPPLER ------ NORMAL FINDINGS


    Both testes are normal in size, shape, echotexture. No focal lesion is seen.
    The right testis measures approximately
    The left testis measures approximately.

    DOPPLER STUDY:
    Intra-testicular arteries show a low-impedance waveform with prolonged high volume
    end diastolic flow. Extra-testicular scrotal arterial supply (cremasteric and deferential
    arteries) has high-impedance waveform with reversed flow in diastole.

    No evidence of varicocele noted bilaterally.

    Both epididymes are normal in size and echotexture. No obvious hydrocoele is seen
    in bilateral scrotal sacs.

    IMPRESSION: No significant abnormality detected.
