    COMPROMISE AGREEMENT
    This Compromise Agreement pertaining to the civil aspect of
    the above-captioned criminal action is entered into this
    _________________ at the Philippine Mediation Center,
    _____________ City, by the following:

    ________________________, of legal age, married, and


    residing at _______________________________________,
    hereinafter referred to as the “Private Complainant”;

    and

    ____________________________, of legal age, married,


    and residing at _________________________, hereinafter
    referred to as the “Accused.”

    In order to foster peace, restore harmony between the parties, and


    settle the civil aspect of the above-mentioned criminal action, the
    Private Complainant and the Accused have agreed to amicably settle
    their dispute and thereby arrive at a full settlement of the civil aspect
    of the case. Accordingly, the parties hereby agree as follows:

    1. The Accused shall pay the Private Complainant the amount of

    (P _____________) upon the execution of this Compromise
    Agreement, the receipt of which the Private Complainant
    hereby acknowledges;

    2. The receipt of the above-mentioned amount serves as the full


    and final settlement of the civil aspect of the case on the part of
    the Private Complainant. The Private Complainant
    understands that the receipt of the above-mentioned amount
    and the settlement of the civil aspect of the case precludes him
    from collecting any form of damages from the registered owner
    of the motor vehicle with plate number _______________,
    pursuant to the legal prohibition against double recovery.

    3. With the receipt of the full and final settlement amount, the
    Private Complainant shall file an Affidavit of Desistance and all
    other necessary pleadings or documents before the Honorable
    Court in order to cause the dismissal of the above-captioned
    criminal action, with prejudice.

    The Private Complainant and the Accused respectfully pray


    that the Honorable Court approve this Compromise Agreement, as
    the same is not contrary to law, morals, good customs, public order
    or public policy.

    IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have mutually and


    voluntarily agreed to the above stipulations, and thus execute this
    Agreement at the Philippine Mediation Center – ____________ City,

    consideration and approval of the Honorable Court.
