Through the transmission controller the machine monitor can carry out the
adjustment functions to correct the differences in the operation feel to a constant
level caused by the individual differences in the ECMV. It can also carry out the
self adjustment learning function so that a constant gearshift feeling is maintained
in accordance with the wear of the transmission clutches. When the following
operations related to the power train have been carried out, perform the
adjustments.
•When the transmission has been overhauled or the valve body is replaced.
•When a failure code or repair in the speed sensor occurs (see chart).
•When a failure code appears for the transmission oil temp. sensor (see chart).
•When the transmission oil filter becomes clogged and replaced (see chart).
