THROWBALL
Team of 10 Girls
• The teams must consist of 7 players and maximum of 3 substitutes.
• The match will be played as best of 3 sets of 15 points each. Service change will be counted
as a point (continuous points rule applies).
• The ball must be thrown above shoulder (no side arms allowed).
• The ball must be caught with 2 hands and thrown with one hand only.
• The ball cannot touch any part of the body beyond the palm.
• Pushing the ball and shifting the ball from one hand to another is not allowed.
• Two players cannot catch the ball simultaneously. Spinning the ball is allowed.
• A player cannot turn 360° with the ball in hand.
• The ball must be released within 3 seconds of catching.
• Service only after the whistle has been blown and within 5 seconds of the whistle.
• While catching service, double touch by two people is not permitted. For all other balls,
double touch by two different people is allowed. Double touch by same person (dubs) is
not allowed.
• Jumping while catching is not allowed. Jumping while throwing the ball is allowed,
including for service.
• Line must not be cut during service. This will cause a service break and no re-serve will be
given.
• If the ball falls within the box, then it is a foul.
• The ball can touch the net, except for service.
• Player in same team can catch the ball after it touches the net and falls back in same court
only if double touch hasn’t happened before. This is not valid for catching a service from
the opponent
• Any ball that falls on the line (either boundary or box) is considered in.
• The arrangement in each half-court must be 2-3- 2 at the time of service.
• 2-time outs allowed per set.
• Every player in the court has to serve in an orderly fashion after which the order will repeat.

LAWN TENNIS
Men: Team of 3
Women: Individual (Singles only)
• For men it will be a team event with 2 singles and 1 double. Those who will play singles
they can also play doubles match. From this 3 matches a team has to win 2 matches to
qualify for next round.
• Each match will be best of 3 sets. (for boys)
• Minimum of 1 girl and maximum of 3 girls (from a college)
• It is going to be an individual event and the tournament will follow knockout format.
• Every match will be of 1 set.
Final will be best of 3 sets.

BASKETBALL
Men
• Matches will be of 4 quarters of 8 minutes each for league round and 12 minutes each for
knockout round.
• Team should have a minimum of 7 and maximum of 12 members.
• FIBA Rules applicable
• Referees call will be the final call.
Women
• Matches will be of 4 quarters of 8 minutes each for league round and 10 minutes each for
knockout round.
• Team should have maximum 12 members.
• FIBA Rules applicable.
• Referees call will be the final call.

FOOTBALL
• Format: 11 a side with 5 substitute players.
• Squad Size: A squad of 16 players need to be on the team list before their particular game.
• Duration: 20 minutes half with 5 minutes break.
• The teams will be divided into groups of minimum four, in which all play against each
other (subject to changes based on the number of teams).
• The standings between the teams will be decided by the number of points.
• Points: A win results in three points, and a draw results in one point. If two or more teams
have the same number of points, the leading team is chosen in the following way.
➢ Overall goal difference.
➢ Highest number of goals scored.
➢ Result from the match between the teams with the same points.
➢ Penalty kicks contest according to FIFA regulations.
➢ Ties in the playoff directly by penalty kicks (FIFA rules).
➢ Finished finals are settled directly by penalty kicks. (FIFA rules)
➢ In the penalty shootout competition, 5 shooters are selected, if it is still equal, 1 shooter
is selected at a time and sudden death continues.
• All players assigned to the penalty shoot-out card must kick. However, the first 5 shooters
must be selected among the 11 players on the pitch when the match ends.
• Proper football shoes are a must with jerseys having numbers at the back.
• Yellow cards in the group stage will not be carried forward to the semi-finals but two
back to back matches with yellow card will result in a one match ban in the group stage
and semis.
• Red cards will be carried forward for 2 matches be it group stages or semis or finals.
• Teams are to report at least 10 minutes before their scheduled time of the game.
• All teams are to submit one standard size football which is in playing condition before
their match at the desk 4th official desk and fill up the team sheet.
• A minimum of 7 players are required to be present on the field at the scheduled time failing
at which will result in a walk over and 3 points will be allotted to the opposition with a
score line of 3-0.
• Referees decision will be final. The committee has the right to ban players if found guilty
of misconduct with the referee or any linesmen.

• In case of severe misconduct during the game, use of verbally abusive languages or
provocative actions during celebrations, the goal may be subject to disallowance and the
team may be subject to disqualification from the tournament.

VOLLEYBALL
Team of 10 Boys
• 3 sets for league matches 25 points each for 1st and 2nd set and 15 for the 3rd set.
• 5 sets for semi-final and final: 1st 4 sets of 25 each and the final set for 15 points.
Note: In the final set, court changes as soon as any team scores 8 points.

LAN GAMING
Day 2 - PUBG
Rules for the game: Team of 4
• Team of SQUAD
• 100-man Battle Royale game
• Map that will be used in the game will be based on Random selection (TPP)
• Each match is of around 30 minutes
• Use of any unfair means whatsoever shall result in disqualification.
• Points for 1st round:
1. Each Kill will earn a reward of 2 points.
2. The team which will win the round 1 will get 10 points.

3. The top 5 or 6 teams of round 1 will get 5 points. (depending upon the size of
participants)
• Points for 2nd round and 3rd round will be same as points for 1st round. (No Elimination)
• After the 2nd round and 3rd round is done the points of 1st, 2nd and 3rd round will be added
and based on the highest points the winner will be declared and rewarded.
PUBG EMULATOR:
• SOLO MATCH
• 100-man Battle Royale game
• Map that will be used in the game will be based on Random selection (TPP)
• Each match is of 30-35 minutes
• Use of any unfair means whatsoever shall result in disqualification.
• The winner game is rewarded. (Depending upon the participation size)
Day 3- FIFA
Rules for the game:
• The tournament will be a knockout tournament and there will be a bracket system.
• Each half would be 8 minutes so the total match length would be 16 minutes.
• The final match will have a second leg fixture (Home and Away)
• Skill adjustments is not allowed and only position editing is allowed.
• Team selection and substitutions are allowed as per the norms.
• If the match is drawn extra time will be given. (No Penalty goals)

CHESS
• This is a mixed event (no separate team for girls). Team comprising of 3 players would be
allowed.
• Each match would be of 3 games, i.e. each player of a team would play against a player
from the opponent team.
• All games would be played with 30 minutes’ clock time to each player. Board order would
be fixed and should be specified at the start of the tournament.
• In case of no result within stipulated time, the player whose time runs out first would be
declared as the loser.
• Touch to move will be followed strictly.
• Other team members are not allowed to talk to any player during the game and must
communicate only through the organizers.
All other standard rules of the game apply. Decision of the referee and the CHESS POC would
be final in case of any controversy. Each player should have his/her college ID-card.

SQUASH
Team of 3 Boys
• EXACTLY 3 players are a mandate.
• Each game would comprise of 3 sets/matches.
• To win a game, a minimum of 2 out of 3 matches need to be won by a player.
• The general rules of the game will be the ones which are accepted globally i.e. the
international rules bind the game.
• The decision for service will be based on a toss.
• The team should STRICTLY carry their own equipment (a minimum of 2 racquets). Failing
to do so would lead to disqualification.
• Sports attire with shoes is a must.
• All teams are supposed to report 15 minutes before the scheduled time of their matches.
• No last-minute change of players will be entertained.
• The decisions of the referee will be final and binding under all circumstances.

COMPETITIONS
• 50 m Freestyle (Individual)
• 100 m Freestyle (Individual)
• 200 m Freestyle (Individual)
• 4 × 50 m Relay (200 m) (Front Crawl, Breaststroke) (Team of 4)
• 2 × 100 m Relay (400 m) (Front Crawl, Breaststroke) (Team of 2)
• 4 × 100 m Relay (400 m) (Front Crawl, Breaststroke) (Team of 4)
• Individual Competitions would be for separate for Men and Women.
• Relay Competitions can have Teams of Both Men and Women (OR) Only Men (OR) Only
Women but, Competition would be held together for all.

CRICKET
Team of 15 Boys
• The squad will consist of a maximum of 15 players (11+4), under no condition the list of
these players will Change, once finalized.
• Each team should come with a proper Sports attire with shoes.
• The format of the tournament will be knockout matches. This is subject to change
depending on the number of teams participating.
• The matches will be of 10 overs (1st 2overs & 8th over will be the power play). No of overs
is subject to change in the semi-finals and final match.
• Umpires decision will be the last decision; no arguments shall be entertained otherwise.
• Other standard cricket rules will follow.
• Hard Tennis Ball will be used for the tournament. Teams should get their own Bats and
other sport gears as per their requirement.

OVERALL WINNER POINTS SYSTEM
An overall winner of the fest, AAVEG X, would be decided via points system
Winners - 10 points
Runners Up - 7 points
3rd and 4th place - 5 points
Participation – 1 point
The point system is for both boys’ and girls’ team. The team with the highest overall points
(combining of boys and girls) at the end of the 3-day fest, would be declared as the overall
winner of AAVEG X.
