3.4 Reinstalling the OS

See MC part in case of reinstalling the OS due to such reason as HDD crash.
It describes reinstalling procedure of the OS and corresponding items need to be setup again.

When restoring images or image database from the storage disks, be sure to perform reconstruction
beginning from the oldest dated disk.
See "1.14 Reconstructing the Image Database" of MC part for details.

3.5 Maintenance
What can be done by MU part:
MU part supplies detailed information for each setting value. While IN part introduces necessary works
step-by-step, MU part focuses on customization of each function.
See the document of workflow customization and the operation manual for customization by user
functions (such as User Utility and Client Utility).

Upgrade - Procedure for upgrade is written in ECN to be released.

Periodic check - PM part describes items to be inspected on periodic check.

3.6 Troubleshooting
MT part describes:
For hardware trouble - Troubleshooting for each PC type.
For software trouble - The list of error messages.

The flowchart and its links to replacing procedures (MC part) are described for each PC part. Follow
the replacing procedure of each types of PC. Be careful especially when replacing the motherboard
because reinstallation of option key software is necessary after the replacement. If it is not done, option
functions cannot be used.
See "2.7 motherboard" of MC part for details.

5. Restrictions
5.1 DICOM Storage
(1) DicomStorageLUT
On DICOM Storage output, an LUT named "DicomStorageLUT.env" is applied. Different from CR
Console, the LUT file cannot be changed for each AE Title.

Supplementation:
PRIMA CL can register storage devices up to two, but the same LUT is applied for each device.
Transmission is possible to only one unit at a time.

As the folder, where the LUT file is located, is defined as a hidden folder, see "Appx IN 1: 2.4
Changing the Display Gradation Correction LUT File" of FCR PRIMA Console Service Manual to
edit this file. In case of creating LUT file, see the operation manual of "MONITOR QC*1".
*1
FCR Diagnostic Image Display Gradation Correction Procedure "MONITOR QC"

(2) TagReplace, TagLookup

When generating images outputs using the DICOM CR Storage function, you can edit (copy,
move, delete or initialize) the tag information (image information). To edit the tag information, open
the setup file (TagReplace.ini) and write desired data in the file.

5.2 Others
(1) Do not connect to the Internet
PRIMA CL cannot be connected to the Internet. PRIMA CL works with Internet Explorer (I.E.) so I.E.
and Windows OS should not be changed their version.

(2) Disable Windows Update

Be sure to disable Windows Update.
If it is enabled, the PC repeats access to Microsoft website, it could affect the normal operation of
PRIMA CL.

(3) Antivirus software cannot be used

In case of the delivery of the data via such media as FD, DVD or USB memory, confirm the safety
of the media before use it.

(4) Use of an exclusive account for service engineer

When a service engineer uses the client application or various utilities for maintenance, be sure to
use “medicalservice” account (password: fieldengineer). The access log of PRIMA CL records the
login account.
