    1. Rephrase the follow paragraph (10 marks)

    The percentage of Americans working or looking for a job rose in October to the
    highest level since August 2013, suggesting the strong demand for workers is drawing
    more people into the labor force as wage growth continues. The workforce-
    participation rate for those aged 25 to 54, prime working years, hit a 10-year high.

    REPHRASED PARAGRAPH:

    In October, the number of Americans that are employed and looking for a job
    increased to the highest level since August 2013. It implies that increasing
    competition for jobs is drawing more people to the labor force as wage growth goes
    on. The workforce participation rate reached a 10-year high for those aged 25 to 54,
    the prime years of employment.

    2. Identify the mistake of follow paragraph (10 marks)


    In recent years, we have witnessed that prosthetics develops drastically. In search of
    the most effective way to resolve the problems faced by amputees, scientists and
    people in medical fields have come up with many kinds of robotic hands. It’s a
    remarkable advancement for the development of this robotic hand, a prosthetic limb
    that provides the natural function of a regular hand. This allows amputee to perform
    various tasks in daily life. Amputations are carried out globally due to accidents, war
    casualties, cardiovascular disease, tumors, or congenital anomalies. (Ruwan Gopura et
    al, 2018)

    Mistake should be listed here:


    1) The verb “develops” in the first sentence should be in singular form.
    2) The in-test/parenthetical citation at the end of the last sentence should be inside the
    sentence and not outside. In other words, the period at the end of the last sentence
    should be put after the citation.
    3.) “Amputee” should be in the plural form – amputees
    4.) The “or” in the last sentence should be replaced by “and”
