    The University of Delhi is not just a number of colleges and its studies.

    The idea of getting into


    the campus life has excited students for years. When a student talks about getting into campus,
    s/he is not just focusing on how good his/her professors are going to be, but also about the lavish
    and full of life college and campus life. It is often said “the campus never sleeps” where libraries
    are open till 2 in the morning and eating joints like the Hudson lane or Satya Niketan still have
    waiting lines outside the cafes till 11 at night. The campus life is full of adventures and
    independence, which obviously, if treated in the correct way is definite to leave life long
    memories.

    The campus life is not just popular for the fun and games, but the hype is also created because of
    the outstanding faculty, the number of opportunities the colleges provide through its societies
    and the idea of standing amongst the crowd but still being unique in yourself. The fact that the
    subject you chose to study is of your choice and interest and you really don’t have to study
    additional five subjects with it is what makes the lectures more fun and interactive; to sit with the
    people who possess the same interest as you and want to gain and give the same information out.

    The admission process is pretty simple for the university of Delhi, a little while after the students
    get the result of their board exams, the university releases a cut-off list for the subjects in each
    college; the students who have scored the said percentage can get in the college of their choice.
    The whole procedure is on first come first serve basis as the colleges have limited seats.
    other than the cut off percentage there are also quotas for specific fields like sports, dramatics,
    musical etc. in this, the student has to audition for the said category in which s/he has been
    excelling since middle school and prove it with your certificates of participations and your
    achievements. The auditions help to make the whole procedure non bias and students can get in
    based on their own achievements and caliber. For the session of 2019, while the registrations are
    going on, the cut off list is expected to be released in June itself. Usually, the cut off lists go to as
    many as thirteen, but if the college starts getting its seats filled early, the lists might stop after the
    fifth or sixth list as well.
    It is hard to leave school and break your bubble of fourteen years which was protecting you to
    step into a new environment of independence with new people, but once you’re determined and
    off with the right friends who support you and your dreams and vice-versa, college is not as
    tough. All you need is the confidence and a belief in yourself that the bursting of the bubble is a
    start of something you and things start becoming simpler and better even in the unknown city.
