Commencement a word of French origin which means beginning. Indeed there is a good reason they
call ceremonies, commencement exercises. Graduation is not the end it is the beginning.
Good Afternoon and Welcome to Sta. Catalina Primary School 1 st Commencement Exercises with the
theme “ Sabay- sabay na hakbang tungo sa Maunlad na Kinabukasan.”
PROCESSIONAL
Ladies and Gentlemen. The processional.

Let us welcome the stake holders in education : PTA officers, Barangay Officials, Flormina and Sta.
Catalina Elementary School Teachers, our Teacher –in- charge together with our Honored Guest .
The month of March is one of the most awaited months on the part of the pupils as well of course
those parents who for their first time ever see their son or daughter be one of those members of
graduating class march during the processional. I am pretty sure that I’ts been already a month-long
waiting and preparation. Those feelings come into reality this day… on this 30 th day of March as we
will witness the 1st Closing Exercises of Sta. Catalina Primary School.
Today, another history slowly unfolds as we come to an end of the school year 2016-2017. It’s been
almost months already that we have witness how these little lads and lasses proved their worth to
become a member of today’s graduating batch.
So, to start with I would like to greet the people who grace the affair. To the epitome’ of empowered
woman and a supportive school leader, our very own Ma’am Ma. Isabel M. Olivas, our Guest of
Honor, Colleagues , Brgy. Officials, PTA Officers, members of graduating batch, parents, guardians,
visitors, friends, ladies and gentlemen, a pleasant and welcoming afternoon!

be followed right away by the acceptance and confirmation of graduates by Ma’am Isabel M.
Olivas.

A diploma is the tangible evidence of being a graduate in a certain level of education. this is now the
fruit of each pupils endeavor. So to do the honors of the distribution of diplomas may we have on
the stage again Ma’am Isabel Olivas, Ma’am Jennie Sabedoria ( I would like to request also our

everything elementary life has to offer. A big hand for Maricar Olivas for the valedictory address.

GRADUATION SONG
In every memorable moment of one’s life, there are always songs that will embody inferred
emotions. With a round of applause let us welcome the graduate for their graduation song.
CLOSING REMARKS
To end this memorable occasion, may we have our Teacher-in-Charge Ma’am Isabel M. Olivas for her
closing remarks.
This commencement exercise has truly been noteworthy for everyone here. Graduation is indeed a
time of completion, of finishing, of an ending, however, it is also a time of celebration of
achievement and most importantly a beginning for the new graduate.
Congratulations Graduates!
Again, congratulations to graduates and to their parents this is your emcee, Rose Marie Garcia and
Gladys Pasamonte, Good Day everyone. Thank you!
