1) Identify all stakeholders involved in FBA, functions of Amazon Fulfillment
center, goods flow and information flows among all stakeholders.
Stakeholders involve in FBA: Amazon, Customers of Amazon, Businesses use FBA,
Customers of Businesses (B2B, B2C)
Functions of Amazon Fulfillment center:
 Fulfilling customer orders
 Providing customer service
 Generating sales
 Sourcing product
 Reaching customers around the world with the click of a button
 Finding new customers
 Fulfilling sales from businesses own website and other online channels with
Amazon’s ever-expanding fulfillment network
Goods flow: Send your inventory to Amazon state of the art fulfillment centers, then your
products will be stored securely. When use FBA, your products listed on Amazon,
become eligible for Amazon Prime and free Super Saver Shipping. When customer buy
products, Amazon will pick pack and ship them.
Information flows among all stakeholders: Whether your business small or large, FBA
gives you all the tools necessary to manage from pricing optimization to business
analytics and personalized business recommendation. You can manage your inventory
online from any device and location.
2) Which issues in SCM does FBA aim to address? Please specify.
 This technique allows Amazon to increase its product offering while outsourcing
the high inventory cost. This allows Amazon to optimize its financial ratios in
order to be able to invest more and more in technology and services.
 To reduce its structural costs and logistics costs which makes products cheaper
