    Transponder key programming procedure for VAG

    Prerequisits:

    All vehicle keys must be available at time of programming


    4 digit vehicle immobiliser access code must be available

    ** NOTE: This procedure cannot be used with the 7 digit immobiliser access code **

    Dash panel coding and part number displayed

    Select
    Enter

    Immobiliser ECU ident number displayed

    Select
    Enter

    Select
    11 - Login

    Enter 4 digit code preceded with a zero [0xxxx]

    Select
    10 - Alter adaptation values

    Select
    Channel 021

    Enter
    Number of keys to be learnt

    Save values to ECU


    Yes

    Remove first key from the ignition


    All keys must be learnt within
    Insert next key and switch ignition on. 30 seconds or the procedure
    WAIT for the key symbol to extinguish will fail.
    Insert any additional keys to be programmed

    Select
    Enter
    to complete procedure

    Any keys not available at the time of programming will subsequently not work with the
    vehicle once reprogramming has been carried out.
