Information on the pattern

Sizes:
6 - 12 - 24 months

Chest:
46 - 50 - 56 cm

Length:
41 - 45 - 49 cm approximately

You need:

Yarn:
I'm coming with two suggestions for yarn quality, but you can use the yarn you want to, as
long the tension fits.
There are just two thing you have to remember, 1) there can be a difference in the amount of
yarn used, 2) the overall look can change a bit.

Cotton 160 m/ 50 g
4 - 5 - 6 skeins of yarn

Baby merino 175 m/ 50 g


3 - 4 - 5 skeins of yarn

Tension:
21 stitches and 16 rows in half treble, to 10 times 10 cm

Hook:
3.0 hook

Abbreviations
ch - chain
ss - slip stitch
htr - half treble
tr - treble

Crochet level:
Easy to intermediate.

The pattern

The straps, make 2:


9 ch, in the second stitch from the hook, 8 htr, turn with 1 ch.
Crochet in total 25 rows of 8 htr.
Break the thread.

8-10-12 ch, 8 htr on the first strap, 17-17-19 ch, 8 htr on the second strap, 15-19-23 ch, 8 htr
on the other end of the second strap 17-17-19 ch, 8 htr on the other end of the first strap,
7-9-11 ch, join to a ring with 1 ss in the first chain stitch.
2 ch, 1 tr in each stitch = 96-104-116 treble stitches, 1 ss in the first treble stitch.

**1 ch, *1 back post htr, 1 front post htr*, repeat * to * the round out, 1 ss in the first htr**.
Repeat ** to ** until the back post htr, front post htr area measures 11 cm.

1 ch, 2 htr in each stitch, 1 ch in the first htr = 192-208-232 htr.


*1 ch, 1 htr in each stitch, 1 ch in the first htr*
Repeat * to *, until there is crocheted 35-40-45 rounds of htr, since the back post, front post
area.
Break the thread and wave in the ends.
