Ryerson Toastmasters, Ted Rogers School of Management Feb 2010 – Present

- Initiated the process of establishing the first Toastmasters Club at Ryerson University and worked towards
getting approval and sufficient interest from school authorities, as well as students.
- Promoted the club with a comprehensive variety of mediums, resulting in the club achieving the chartered
club status from Toastmasters International within a month from converging on the idea.
- Trained, supervised and motivated other club officers to effectively perform their duties

- Acted as the main point of contact for all inquiries and questions from all concerned parties, including
students interested to join the club as well as authorities from Toastmasters International.

- Penned a variety of business related articles and columns, including editorials that were published both in
the print and online form; article topics included the HST and Tax Reforms, Privacy Laws in Ontario, TTC
Customer Service and the Effect of Protectionism among many other current issues.
- Developed crucial communication and networking skills through interaction and interviews with many
industry professionals that included CEOs and senior management of organizations
- Conducted extensive research before every article for a fair representation of issue at hand
- Also attended various business conferences such as the enVision 2010 Conference and several Economic
Club of Canada events, further reporting such events in the newspaper
