The Next Place and The Invisible.

A Realization of the
Eternal World for the Temporary Self.

Is there a world going on about us that we cannot see? Let’s look at it logically.
There is wireless internet, radio and television. There are germs. We may be able to see
some of the invisible world with current technology but it should seem perfectly
plausible to everyone that technology will continue to improve and we will see things in
the future that we cannot see now. Let’s assume it’s accurate to say that even though we
do not see these things today, that they are here now.
There is I. Me. A story I tell myself about who I am when I go to bed at night. In
this story, I also tell myself how the world is, its rules and why things happen in it. There
are pictures in my mind, images, that I am emotionally bound to worship as truths that
make me feel better enough so that I am not terrified to let go and bid this crazy world
adieu until I awaken the next morning.
The universe was always here and will always be so there cannot be a beginning
or end for it. Time and space function more like ingredients in a soup for their created
hosts than they really are anything else. There is no past, present or future because it is
one great infinite moment. As a created thing in the world of my creator, I exist in
timelessness though it seems as if there is limited time and I am locked in to only a
continuous present moment.
This is the invisible, the next place. Consider that instead of heaven or hell or
paradise or an afterlife, we have the capacity to think about a set of facts beyond our
immediate senses. Many will demand proof of God before submitting to His will but
what if God was a concept which made it easier to think about and communicate ideas
that symbolized various navigation techniques for this world going on all around us just
beneath the temporary occurrences of daily life? Would we still need such hard
evidence?
Most people will live in the soup of temporary occurrence and be constantly
reacting to its stimuli but the learning process can be sped up by looking into the world
of spirit, or in other words, the casual sphere. It is not a world beyond matter it is a
world of fine mesh matter that is just beyond our ability to see with our eyes but we can
think about it and learn from it as opposed to unforgiving reality. We can react before
something happens rather than after it. We can see it coming.
We can see that, while it seems like we are not alone on this Earth, in the eternal
world, we are the only fixture. In my life, I am the only one who is always there. Let’s
break me down into smaller pieces to see what I’m made of. Materially, I am made of
flesh and blood, I feel pain and pleasure, I need money to buy food and shelter in order
to survive, I feel like a loser if my self-image is such that I am not favored by my fellow
humans on the social ladder. Spiritually, I have patterns of thinking and behavior, ways
of looking at things, memories that influence decision-making and I stand naked in
from of God - a whole world that can lock me up in jail, kill or maim me, or reward me
with several millions of dollars, good health, love and all the good things in life.
If my interpretation of Christian Mythology is correct. God does not have to be an
evil being but He can be if I insist on having it my way all the time. If I insist on playing
the game by my own rules in a terrarium, eventually the consequences of my actions will
catch up to me and I won’t be so happy with the world I find myself in. Hell. Once you
start looking at life as a continuous growing and learning process that is forever forging
the soul in fire and attach emotionally to that instead of the temporary things in life that
may bring you immediate pleasure, then hell ceases to be a place of punishment and
begins to be a place of discipline. Immediately, the devil, is no longer your enemy but a
messenger of God sent to straighten you out and show you the way out of your troubles -
because YOU ARE WORTH THE TROUBLE.
God loves you like a father his only son. To accept this into our hearts is to have
the son of God born in Bethlehem. The song God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen illustrates
this phenomenon in a deeply metaphorical way - to save us all from Satan’s power.

The first thing is that effort is never wasted. Even if nothing is achieved after a
hard days work, we are building a good work ethic. A work ethic that when created, will
help us to build great monuments and secure us the pay we need to survive in life.
Getting the run-around, a flat tire on the way to school, even a house burning down and
a beloved pet dying - it’s not a test of faith, it’s life. Life is fragile. The soul gets stronger.
You may not have the Earth-life you want but you are in God’s hands and He is forging
the soul you want for the eternal life.
Is there another way of saying this for the sceptic? Herein lies a bit of a problem.
In talking about concepts that are happening above the natural world that we can see
with our own eyes, we often find that language itself is more a hindrance than it is a
help. We use words like “supernatural, metaphysical and spiritual,” to mark a difference
between them and the world of the, “natural, physical and material.” If you’ve done well
in science, you may think that everything is natural, physical and material because
everything is made of atoms, molecules and matter. The only point I would make here is
that all those atoms are made of energy and energy is more along the lines of being non-
material. It’s all matter and energy in an objective sense yes, but if we’re going to talk
about different ways of thinking and not what matter is made of then we need to
conceptualize this in way that effectively (and yes artificially) shows us the difference
between thinking naturally vs supernaturally, physically vs metaphysically or materially
vs spiritually. If we are to be spiritual people, how exactly does that differ from material
people? What is spiritual?
