Swinburne University of Technology

Our Online student enrollment system enables students to enroll into their subjects prior to the

commencement of their semesters. This enrollment system not only allows international students to

enroll through internet without traveling to the campus but also incorporates the business rules. These

business rules cover a wide range of regulations and policy such as subject pre-requisite, student's

payment status, course coordinator's decision and the correspondence of students' seniority to the

intended enrolling subjects. Besides business rules, the system also incorporates various notification

mechanisms like Short Messaging Service (SMS) and Email. XML is used to store the business rules and

thus allow the portability of the system interface to wider range of devices such as Personal Device

Assistant (PDA). The interface auto-detects the user's device either PC/laptop or much smaller screen

device such as PDA. In short, the enrollment system backend engine runs based on the business rules

and front-end engine runs to provide high satisfaction user experience. With the business and user

interface, the system is able to run the workflow of student enrollment from the online enrollment form

to approval workflow cycle running parallel with the notification capability.

PCG Academia

The Student Enrollment System offered by PCG Academia allows university employees to

monitor the status of candidates for studies and communicate with them at every stage of the

recruitment process, from the initial inquiry about the offer to the start of learning. Thanks to the

possibility of integration with the Librus Synergia software, the National Register of Maturity Exams

(KReM) and any student information system, our solution organizes and supports the entire online

registration of the candidate, supervision of payments, support of the recruitment committee and finally

admitting the candidate for studies.

Important attributes of our Student Enrollment System are remote handling of the recruitment

process, form responsiveness, friendly, intuitive, personalized interface, ability to configure any

recruitment process, optimization of the work of the Recruitment Office and integration with 3

platforms of instant payments (PayU, Dotpay, Przelewy24).

Our Student Enrollment System is used by 21 universities in Poland. These are universities,

including technicala and medical as well as vocational colleges. The system is scalable and suited to the

needs of public and non-public universities.

DySAS Center for CPA

DySAS Center for CPA Review has proven its performance in six years in service for they had

produced 6 CPA top notchers in 5 years’ time and now the leading CPA review center in Mindanao. Over

the years the population of enrollees exceeds constantly from the anticipated annual growth. During

enrollment, vulnerability to errors in book keeping is defined which would consume much time delaying

the enrolment process. The proponents planned to give a response to the defined problems in the

DySAS Center for CPA Review’s business process. The proposed Web-based Enrollment System with

Reservation is able to help avoid error on record keeping through putting into operation an electronic

form upon providing personal data in registration. The system is able to cater more enrollees

simultaneously compared to the current process on registration period. The proponents used Waterfall

Process Model as a guide in developing the system. This process model is composed of step by step

phase from analyzing the requirements and identifying the features to be developed to implementation

until the system is complete. The proponents, despite the time constraints, were able to complete the

proposed Web-based Enrollment with Reservation System of DySAS Center for CPA and met the

objectives, such as making the enrollment process faster and to increase the potential revenues for the

organization. The proponents recommend that in the future researches, features such as bank wire

transfer and automatic notification of registration through SMS are included.

Liceo de Cagayan University

The Online Enrollment System was proposed for the enhancement of the current

enrollment system of Liceo de Cagayan University. The study aimed at creating a system that

would provide another option for enrolling and that would compensate for the school’s lack of

manpower and time-consuming system. The database of the system is the dbEnrollment. It

contains many tables and stores information such as student’s academic records, secretary’s

files and records, class schedules, pre-requisites, subjects, curricula and other essential data

needed in the system. The proposed system caters to old, freshmen, transferees and shiftees

with the following services: subject evaluation, posting of grades, viewing of curriculum, add

and update profile. The system lessens the enrollment time, speeds up file management, and

minimizes inaccuracies and errors.

Liberty Christian School Enrollment and Cashiering System

The Liberty Christian School is a Christian coeducational day school, named after Pastor

Celis. It was established on November 28. The Liberty Christian manual enrollment and

cashiering system was developed in 1993 and it’s unable to meet the growing demands for

their students. Hence, it needs a reengineering and introduces new modification for the system

in accordance to the fast-changing technology. The new well - enhanced automated system of

Liberty Christian School Enrollment and Cashiering System has begun this year during the

second semester.

The new system of Liberty Christian School has improved to the unsatisfactory

performance of the old system. The certain flow of our program is inputting the necessary
information of the students and supply the correct output of the enrollment, and the selected

accounts of the students. There are certain necessities that have been added in the system,

like, a student could possibly be accelerated or dropped out from class due to failed subjects of

which the student could have made up or summer classes within that year. Also, the students

could promptly ask for an assessment of his/her subjects together with his/her accounts. There

are typical problems of the system that has been established but because of this proposal the

system is clarified and settled in some ways, such as records of students are easily updated and

information are being retrieved accurately, accounting data is efficient with minimal accounting

errors. Also, it enhances cashiering productivity.
