    About Department

    The Department of Computer Applications was established in the year 2000. The department is full-
    fledged with experienced faculty fraternity and meritorious students with lateral thinking. The department
    is committed to impart Value and Skill-based quality education in the field of Computer Applications.
    Teaching fraternity is encouraged to present and publish papers in Conferences, Seminars and Journal of
    Repute. It conducts International conferences, Faculty Enrichment Programmes and Workshops in latest
    application developments. The students are bestowed with ample opportunities to improve their talents,
    technical knowledge, leadership quality and organizational ability which will emphasize the academic
    performance and good placement. In addition to that, they are encouraged to take part in Extra and Co-
    curricular activities. The department arranges Add-on courses, Industry Internship and Industrial Visits
    for experiential learning. It extends its service to the society in the form of knowledge and creates
    awareness on digitalization of day-to-day activities.

    Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA) is one of the popular courses among the students who want to
    make their career in the IT (Information Technology) field. The duration of the course is 3 years and
    divided into 6 semesters. It comprises of the subjects like database, networking, data structure, core
    programming languages like ‘C’ and ‘java’. This course provides a lot of opportunities to the students
    who are interested in computer field and wants to work in the IT sector as programmer or software

    Learn how to take your Web Pages from bland to bold with the power of CSS styling
     CoralDraw – 5 hours
    It enables users to create professional illustrations for newletters, brochures, Logos and web
    graphics
     Adobe Photoshop - 5 hours
    It is a complex graphics and image editing software and paint program
     Internet – 3 hours
    Introduction to the Internet including E-mail World wide Web(WWW)
     Computer Fundamental – 5 hours
    Basics of Computer Fundamentals course begins with basic concepts and builds quickly to
    intermediate skills and techniques.
