    Culture:

    Sinulog Festival: Sinulog festival is a well-known festival in Cebu. In fact, sitio

    humayan is also one of the place of Cebu who are doing this festival. During the second week of

    january where sitio humayan celebrating the fiest of our baby jesus "Snr. Sto. Niño. It is now a

    culture because sinulog is already done before from our lolo's and lola's which had been passed

    and still exist today. Moreover, the people living here are dancing the festival to show the love

    and honor to snr. Sto. Niño. Basically, this culture influenced moral development because it

    shows that we accept the religion Christianity. Mostly of the people living here are Christians

    that's why it is part of our culture. Furthermore, this developed our morality because it deepens

    our faith,trust,and love to Jesus Christ our savior.


    Culture:

    Purok Cleaning Program: It is been the culture of sitio humayan to clean the

    sorroundings. The people are helping one another to clean and develop the sitio. The cleaning are

    done every weekend which is saturday. They also plant some plants in order to have a fresh air

    and to avoid landslide. This influence the moral development because it somewhat shows the

    betterment of the society. Purok also stands for helping each another in case if there are person

    who needs help. The community are better as well as the people living develops teamwork. It

    also measures how hardworking the people living here.


    Culture:

    Kissing of Hands: This culture is being thought traditionally and still exist until now.

    The children did this before going to school and going home after school or going to somewhere.

    This shows respect to the elders. And this help you grow as individual with respect to someone.

    It is one of the values you can saw to the children living here. They are being thought by their

    parents of such deeds. It is important that young children are being thought by good values so

    that they can bring it when they get older. In fact, it is essential that they are God fearing because

    it can develop their morality. Also, they always choose on what is morally right than wrong.

    Parents are the one who guide their children to go in the right path.
    Culture:

    Death Anniversary: One of the culture in sitio humayan is celebrating the death

    anniversary of their love ones who already passed away. In fact, it is one way to gather together

    the family members especially when their relatives are not living together. This shows the unity

    of one another or being a family oriented sitio. It presents that they never forget their love ones

    who already passed away. The loves still remain because it is hard to forget those people who

    give you so much memory and have a big part in your heart.
    Culture:

    Christmas and New Year Celebration: Not only sitio humayan who celebrate Christmas and

    new year but the whole Philippines. Basically, it is our culture as Filipino's. New Year and

    Christmas is not complete without foods. Every Filipino’s should have it "Noche buena and

    Buena noche ". During New Year it is our belief traditionally that the foods we are preparing has

    meanings especially the circle ones which means money. Hence, during Christmas we attend

    simbang gabi in preparation to the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. These influence our moral

    development by knowing our responsibility and honoring our Almighty God.
