Sab A fine afternoon, Sir Renz. It’s an honor to share the stage with you in hosting
this Search for Mr. and Ms. DPA.
Renz Thank you Sab! Truly, this is the most awaited event of our audience. Now,
everybody is excited about the program, right?
Sab Yes. We all are super excited!

Actually, Sir, our contestants have gone through various workshops and
seminars just for this very moment.
Renz Indeed, they have gone through several hurdles before being able to present
today. I’m really excited to see their respective performances.
Sab I believe everyone is eager to see our candidates, so we have prepared a short

Renz I can’t wait to see their respective performances; however, the contestants
are going to stun us first with their charming looks! Now, get ready to be
mesmerized by our contestants! And now to introduce themselves, let us

Sab As of now, Sir. I’m pretty sure everybody is wondering how the candidates will
be judged. Aside from that, this pageant is not only merely about glamour and
poise but it also requires the contestants to wow the audience as well.
Renz Here’s the mechanics of the talent round:

1. Performance must last for a minimum of two (2) minutes and maximum of
three (3) minutes.
2. One minute will be given for the preparation.
3. Time starts from the very first movement of the candidate.
4. One point shall be deducted from every judge’s score for every ten seconds
in excess of the allotted maximum time.
5. Back- up dancers are allowed during the performance.
Sab 6. The contestants are not allowed to wear and to use any harmful props/
materials and perform dangerous stunts.
7. Any profanity or sexually suggestive material on clothing will not be
allowed.
8. Candidates who will use music for performance should submit their flash
drive to the committee in- charge a day before the competition.
9. One point will be deducted from the over-all score if the candidate fails to
comply with the deadline.
10. In the event that two candidates will perform together, they will be graded
individually.
11. The score in the talent round and semi- final will be added to declare who
will be the next Mr. and Ms. DPA 2020.
Renz The official criteria for judging of the talents of the contestants are as follows:
Showmanship, 30%
Sab Creativity, 20%
Renz Skills, 20%
Sab Mastery, 20%
Renz Over-all impact, 10%, for a total of 100%
Sab Our participants can either perform with their partners or they can perform
solo. Either way, they will be graded individually.

This wouldn’t be a competition if there was no one to intricately critic each

hopeful, right Sir?
