Description:

AT&T is the world's largest telecom provider. Our Project is all about maintaining the
Repository of the whole AT&T billing system.
We extract the data from various systems including Teradata using SSIS packages or files
through connect direct and develop packages for transforming the data into project related
format. Further, used SSAS to analyze the data for reporting purposes followed by subscribing
reports using SSRS.
These reports include data related to telecom, USPS (United States Postal Services) etc. A
VB.NET windows application is used to monitor the format, view reports, modify report
parameters, provide access, and generate logs.

Responsibilities/Contribution:

• Understanding client’s business process and existing application.


• Interacting with the clients on a regular basis for gathering the requirements and
resolving issues pertaining to SSIS packages, cubes or SSRS reports.
• Involved in all phases of project releases (Documentation, Designing, Unit Testing and
Defect Fixing)
• Developing & modifying tables, Views, Stored Procedures, Functions as per
requirement.
• Played a key-role & worked on SQL 2012 to SQL 2016 Migration and handled issues
pertaining to it efficiently.
• Scheduling reports using reporting services to e-mail with attachment in desired
format to clients.
• Created transformations and mapping using Data Flow tasks in SSIS packages
• Responsible for deliver the solution on time.
• Analyzing and optimizing and developing of SQL Scripts, T-SQL.
• Design or modify existing SSIS Package as per requirement.
• Used Control Flow Tasks like For Loop Container, For Each Loop Container, Execute
SQL Task, Script Task and Data Flow Tasks.
• Also used the Derived Column Transforms, Conditional Splits and Data Conversions.
OLEDB Connections, Flat File Connections while developing SSIS Packages.
• Testing, fixing the bugs and troubleshooting the technical problems related to
extraction and transformation of data using SSIS.
