I. Objectives:
After the lesson, students will be able to:
1. Identify the Different Kinds of Refuse
2. Develop a plan for proper Waste Disposal in different situation/places
3. Value the importance of knowing proper Waste Disposal
Materials:
Strips of Paper, LCD Projector/TV Screen with HDMI Connectors, pictures, visual aids (construction paper, pentel
pen), adhesive tape
III. Procedure:

“Let us pray first...” (One Student will lead the Prayer)
(Checking of Attendance) (Students will tell who’s absent for the day)
These will be our house rules for the day. (A student will read the house rules)

Two students pair off against each other. Teacher asks a question, and whoever shouts the answer first wins. The
winner stands and calls the name of the next contestant or new challenger. The goal is to defeat more
students/challengers as possible before losing. Questions and answers are based on the previous topic. (3 min)

IV. Evaluation:
Students will answer the 15-item test prepared by the teacher. (10min)
Test 1. Catch and Match. Students will match the different examples of refuse found in the box to the kinds of
refuse they are.
Test 2. Evaluate the Situation. Students will analyse the situation given. Then, they will make a plan on how to
dispose the refuse properly.

V. Assignment:
“KNOWING THE LAW”
Students will answer the following in their MAPEH notebook.
1. What is RA 9003?
2. What are the solid waste management given by RA 9003?
3. What are the other things refrain by this law?
