    Installing Java
    During this guide we will be using Ubuntu 15.04 as a reference. Even though Chromis Pos should work
    anywhere that there is Oracle JAVA 8 running we will only support Ubuntu and Linux Mint.

    Installing JAVA Oracle version 8 Update 60 >>> Open Terminal and type these command

    sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/java


    Press enter
    sudo apt-get update
    Press enter
    sudo apt-get install oracle-java8-installer
    Press enter

    Check If java is working by typing the following command.

    java -version
    Press enter

    Downloading Software
    To download the latest update please visit our forum download section and select Linux

    In our case it is a 64 bit machine so we press Linux 64 bit


    Save the file and press OK.

    Installing Software
    To Install Chromis OPos we need to convert the file into an executable.

    Open Terminal and type the following


    cd Downloads
    Press enter

    chmod +x chromispos-0.51-linux-x64-installer.run
    Press enter

    sudo ./chromispos-0.51-linux-x64-installer.run
    Press enter

    Enter Sudo Password


    Press enter

    Press OK

    Press Forward

    Accept Terms and Press Forward

    Press Finish and Click ChromisPos on the desktop.

    For Default Derby press Yes // NO to restore old Database
